Do you know a manga artist Ayaka Takeuchi?
She had a dream when she was a child.
“I’ve been drawing my whole life and been working in Foreign country.”
She was interested in U.K. literature and she wanted to read books in the original English version.
For example, Sherlock Homes series - in the original.
She first visited in U.K. when she was 28 years old.
When she was there, she got a strong culture shock.
When she wanted to get on the train, it didn’t come to the station on time.
She marveled at the differences and enjoyed all the quirks and inconveniences.
She realized there were totally different from Japan.
And she had filled an enthusiasm for studying English.
